History reminds us,
War is love;
The heart is passion,
The heart is selective,
The heart chases time-
Peace watches;
The victor is sinking-
The foreman is rising-
The victor is a tower
built on drained swamps.
The vanquished are forgiven,
The vanquished are blessed,
The foreman is fatter,
as long as he’s blind;
Indifference is neutral.
And all is well for every color,
The pallet is stable.
Evill is only,
unknowns who rise;
As the cycle continues,
as history reminds them,
on the cusps of their time.
Protestors on the homefront
are unrequited lovers.
