“Would you look at that moon.”

Northern crickets don’t chirp in fall.

They either die or do something other.

Crickets might end in florida summer.

Wind will see me through the fall,

in florida, as in new york.

In fall I suppose florida crickets

will be acknowledged in some way;

whether it’s because they remain,

or because they don’t, if I’m observant-

after two full years- I’ll know the answer.

Every morning I see the moon.

I see the moon so often.
