Stoicism seems more ironic
in its practice and in theory
than in conversation.
But who achieves either
and will benefit others
simultaneously?
There is no accomplishment
in oneself continuously jading
to the point of fucklessness.
And factor in one’s
poor sense of civic duty… .
I’m not sure what
philosophers had in mind
when they decided
virtue suffices happiness.
To be righteous
in one’s indifferences,
one’s convictions must be
affirmed accurate
and virtues must likewise
be deemed desirable,
in order to honor this question.
