In the moment of doubt,
to inflate oneself in order to exist,
Bravado and denial distinguish.
To rise to occasions,

In moments of doubt, the past is real,
as in any moment.
What’s known finds way in what is not.
Confidence is not bravado.
Bravado doesn’t last this long.
