The human mind is a carnal network of interfunctional CPUs that function to process our perceptions and churn out computations that command our reactions. The CPUs of the human mind range in specialty, function, and workload. Every CPU inside the master mind plays a critical role inside a gestaltic story. All CPUs are responsive learning machines that dance with perception and function to predict results in the environment. Capable of recursive thinking, these CPUs chase after the past as the present unfolds; simultaneously, they attempt to greet the present with predictions that aim to match results; they make predictions. All CPU computations either become discarded or they become stored; stored CPU computations are called memories. Mindfulness might be considered a skill in some sense that we can practice, but mindfulness is a vital function of consciousness, and we are always mindful to some great degree.
